What was it: A Chance to meet colleagues in the Irish publishing industry
Where was it: The Bar upstairs in the Cliff Town House http://theclifftownhouse.com/bar/
When was it: Tuesday, December 6
What time: 18.00-20.00
Attended: People attended from Gill & Macmillan, Thomson Reuters, Bord Gais, Kate Bowe PR, Folens, Penguin, Little Island, former HW Wilson, Blackhall and from independent editing and writing servcies. It was a lovely night in a beautiful venue. We are planning similiar events for next year including reviving the Film Club, having an end-of-summer party (thanks to Mr Fergal Tobin of Gill & Macmillan for this suggestion) and having more informal networking events. The next event is Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Details to be confirmed and any suggestions are welcome. Thinking of tying in with Chinese New Year…
